Acupuncture - Rogue Valley Community Acupuncture in Phoenix, ORWhat is Acupuncture?

Several thousand years ago, East Asian practitioners discovered that the body forms dis-  harmonies as a result of the various physical and mental stresses that affect our over-all healthfulness. Oriental medicine explains these dis-harmonies as an imbalance of opposing forces called yin and yang. Yin and yang are terms used to describe opposite qualities or manifestations of Qi or Chi (our life force, life breath or Prana) that gives life, and makes us living human beings. Without life’s breath, we could not exist. Chi is a strong energetic force that makes you alive, alert, and aware but when it’s weak, or not flowing efficiently, it can create pain, stiffness, sluggishness, fatigue, lethargy, memory impairment, problems with breathing and a host of other stress factors.  When your life force is flowing effortlessly throughout your body, you heal faster and feel more alive, sharp and mindful. By restoring energy flow, the body corrects itself. Acupuncture can also help emotional conditions, help to reduce or relieve side-effects during some medical treatments, and even promote higher consciousness.

The imbalance of energy that disrupts the movement of the body's vital energy runs along meridian pathways. Meridians are channels that the body's energy flows through.  I am able to restore your smooth flow of energy by inserting and manipulating hair-thin needles at specific meridian points which returns the body back to its natural balance, and promotes its ability to heal itself. After many years of helping people with acupuncture, I now take pride in saying that you'll be surprised to see how painless, and actually enjoyable and effective, acupuncture can be. Just to prove my point, before your first session, we'll try one needle so you can see before you have your first session how it feels and lessen any apprehension. The end results are amazing!

When Acupuncture returns the body to its natural state of balance and harmony, pain and many other problematic   conditions subside. If you don't know if Acupuncture             can help you, please feel free to give me a call.

Is Acupuncture safe?
